Orion Global Advisors started as RP Capital Group which was founded in late 2004 by Rafael Berber who is the Group MD and CIO.  Rafael was formerly the Global Head of Equity Trading and Equity-Linked Products at Merrill Lynch where he spearheaded the development of the firm's equity derivatives and the emerging markets franchise. In addition, many senior principals of RP Capital Group/Orion Global Advisors have had leadership positions in Merrill Lynch before joining RP Capital Group.

 

In 2016, the firm renamed itself as Orion Global Advisors, reflecting our focused commitment to multi-asset investing in single client dedicated portfolios. Since inception, we have remained closely aligned with our clients.
